I don't have to eat right everyday for the rest of my life, I just need to eat right TODAY!

I had done fairly well on my fitness plan that I dedicated myself to during the second week in January. It was not a part of my new years resoloution: I stopped making those a long time ago; I was just tired of the on/off pattern that I had displayed in the past and decided that this time I'm sticking to it. I paid $500 for a personal trainer at my gym and I went to see a dietician. I was serious! But, the past couple of weeks I have not been making the best nutrition decisions. I had been eating a slice a cake 2x per week when my mom brought me a slice from our favorite bakery. I had also been eating fried foods as well. I joined spark people yesterday, AICANDY kept telling me I should check it out. I got inspired by members pages and I have a new outlook on my goals.

Today my mom brought home a slice of my fave cake from the bakery and some fried chicken. I told her that I did not want my slice and I went to the gym. (You guys don't understand how serious my sweet tooth is, it has a mind of its own) When I left the gym, I stopped by Target, and as I was shopping I picked up a grilled caesar salad from their deli, because I knew that I was so hungry and I didnt want to be tempted to grab a piece of fried chicken when I got home. When I left Target I want to Academy and bought boxing gloves. My trainer showed me a boxing work-out that I enjoyed. I love my gloves, they are pink and sooo cute! I'm also going to look for a Bally's kickboxing class since my nearest location doesn't offer one.

I am proud of what I accomplished today, I don't have to stick to my plan for 5453132565 days, I just need to stick with it for TODAY! Thats my mantra to help me get through my rough days and to give me a positive attitude about my choices!

Great choices!! Keep up the good work. I have a serious sweet tooth as well. When I first started a book called "Diet Simple" helped me a lot. It is kind of based on the 80-20 principle. That is you really need to make great choices 80% of the time and allow for some favorites in moderation of course 20% of the time. Yesterday was clearly an 80% day for you. Work it Ms. Glamourousity!!!!
