Oh, I had a GOOD workout this morning!

4 or 5 years ago, I bought "The Firm" after watching the infomercials for about a month. I actually have two different versions - the one with the square "fanny lifter" and the one with the oblong "fanny lifter". I have seen more results personally with the earlier version - the square one. Anyways, I've been working the elliptical for a couple weeks now with NO real progress, except actually working out 4 or 5 times a week. I'm thinking maybe my body is too used to the machine and I needed to shake things up. I really enjoyed The Firm workouts - a GREAT mix of cardio and strength training all in one session - and figured I'd pull one out and give it a go. To say I was stunned to get through the entire workout without resting or taking a couple sets off would be an understatement. I could definitely feel the workout - I certainly didn't breeze through it, but I guess I didn't realize just how much my body has changed until this morning. I did all the cardio and step-ups and even the push ups without feeling like I was killing myself. I will be adding this workout to my weekly routine without a doubt, alternating with my elliptical.

Just two weeks from tomorrow I've got to wear a two-piece in front of my friends and I feel pretty good about the prospect - I even tried on my suit for hubby this morning and he said I looked so good HE was going to have to start watching HIS weight!
