Another Rainy Day

Sunday, June 28, 2009

I woke up this morning, took all my meds, and still felt wobbly. Now I know why--it's pouring rain, so the Meniere's is acting up. We certainly need the rain, though. Maybe my tomatoes and peppers will perk up a little!

Hope it stops by tomorrow, though, because it's hard to work when I get too dizzy; and I can't function if I take a higher dose of meds. Luckily for me, it's been a really slow summer at work, so if I just show up, I'll probably be able to just sit at my desk.

God is good!

I will pray for the rain to go away and for you to have a good day tomorrow. Take care my friend.

ALthough I know it will make me dizzy, please send the rain over here! I hope it does clear up for youm, though. And I hope Monday is a quiet day at work.

After you sent the encouraging words to me a little while ago, I had some time to go back and look at your page and then to be able to pray a blessing on you to fit your needs. What a humbling experience that turned out to be. I am in awe that you would even be writing to a newbie in the midst of your health problems and your concern about your sister.

I will be praying that your diagnostic tests will all be easier for you to bear. I had a panic episode the first time I had an MRI a few years also and experiences like that are difficult to shake off, especially when you are stretched emotionally with everything that is going on. If it's any consolation, the next one I had in an open chamber was no problem, although I still kept my eyes tightly closed. One thing that I'll never forget from that first MRI: I love Kenny G's music (smooth jazz) and I eagerly chose one of his CDs to listen to during the procedure. Unfortunately, my favorite songs are now unpleasantly burned into my memory.

So, word to the wise! If you have a choice, pick some kind of music you hate and will never want to hear again. LOL. emoticon

I hope that your Meniere's clears up soon. I would rather have pain than vertigo, myself.

God's grace is certainly sufficient to meet all of your needs, with healing and peace.

Marlene, I do hope your weather improves... Sitting at your desk all day, I am sure, is not much fun! Thinking of you, dear friend. emoticon
