It is harder than I thought

Tuesday, July 21, 2009

I am having a really hard time getting back to my exercise routine. Excuses I didn't allow before vacation are now creeping in my daily activities. My weight is going up and down since coming home. I gained three pounds while away , took off 2 the next week and now this week I have gained all of it back and more, I need to have a realy good talk with myself. I need to take time to do the work that it takes. No more excuses... It is time for action. emoticon

emoticon why don't you try "practicing" ~ do your workouts or even alternative stuff like throw a rag over the broomstick,, flip on the radio and dance around the house knocking down cobwebs? once you get your endorphins a rocking & a rolling & you feel the mood again, add a walk or regular kind of exercise. Bet you'll be back on a roll again soon :)

You can do it, and Oh can I relate, so really!

    Together we can do this!

It's time to review your goals. Rewrite them to start with smaller, reachable goals to achieve. Do a few daily ones and when you've accomplished them, reward yourself too! Then go a few days more and then do weekly ones. Always do things in progressive so your main goal seem possible to reach.

Remember, baby steps brings you leaps of successes!

You just got a little unsettled - you'll get your momentum back don't worry.

As you say..... those dreaded excuses and lack of motivation...... is your puppy still your motivation?

Do you have an event in the near/far future to work towards?
