Back to walking

Well my life may seem completely chaotic and I may not know what tomorrow will bring...or the next hour for that matter. But one thing I am sure of is that I need to exercise, and now more than ever. I need that one thing that makes me feel good. It makes me feel strong. It is important and 2 days without it was not good. So today I went out and walked the big block twice. I pushed the first time around to make my 15 minute goal. Anything over 15 minutes (when it is just me and the baby) is no longer good enough lol. And then the second time I went I had Erica walking with me and we still made 16 1/2 minutes. It felt good.

I am not sure what tonight will bring to me as far as he goes. Last night was terrible for me because of everything going on and then to top it off Avery has starting teething (and so early!!). He kept me up all night. Poor kid. And poor me cause I had to work. I am so exhausted at this point. So I am gonna get her in bed and then tomorrow I plan to catch up with all my spark friends. I am so blessed to be surrounded by you all. Even though we are online I feel like I have made some genuine friends on here. I am glad for that. Good night everyone.

    Good for you, you are strong. Look at yourself through my eyes and you will see an exceptional person. I would have been whining and feeling sorry for myself but you are strong and determined, you will get through this and be happier than ever.     I am glad to see that you are walking; I think that's the best thing you can do right now. Not only will walking help you lose weight; it will also help your emotions. Last month I signed my divorce papers; and my wedding anniversary was just a few days ago. You know what I did; I did a 36-hour water fast and I walked and I felt good. I hope you keep on thinking about your well-being and your children and get out there and walk. Blessings.

    Way to keep you feet moving! Nothing is better for stress than a little exercise.

    I'll keep you and your babies in my prayers. Hopefully this will begin to blow over soon. As for now, keep taking care of you! Someone has to be there for your babies!

    Walking is a great exercise. It is the "go to" exercise for many people, including myself. Lots of Sparkies have lost a lot of weight by doing a lot of walking. You have the right idea!!

    Keep the walking going. I started walking 2 months ago and have really been consistent. I hated getting up early in the beginning, but now I just love the walks and miss them if I cannot get out. I found the following really helped
    1. stick to the same time each day, for me it is 7:30am
    2. Start by doing at least 15 min....that's not bad if you go out every day...you will find it easier to work the time upwards. I now do 60 min, and 30 min of stretching in the park.
    You can do it.
    Having a baby can be chaotic, but if you insist on getting your walk in daily ...come what may....I think you might feel a little more in control.
    15 min is awesome for a gal and her baby!!
