Signs That the Surgery is Working!
Sunday, August 30, 2009
I'm so thankful to report that there are finally signs that the surgery may be successful! It has rained two days in a row and I didn't get vertigo or nausea! That is what we were hoping for! The change in pressure does not seem to be affecting my body in the same way as before the surgery!
I even worked the last couple of days of the week, but was totally exhausted by the end of the day. (I admit I pushed myself too hard and probably should have waited til next week.) I will not see the doctor for post-op exam until September 9th. In the meantime, I expect to get a little better each day. I even walked without the cane most of the time during the last couple days. Balance, of course, remains a problem and there's nothing to be done about that.
God is working in His time and I thank each of you who lifted a prayer for me. It's the most wonderful gift for someone to speak to God on my behalf!
Thank you, my friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ.
