Couch to 5K phase 1 day 1

Brisk five-minute warmup walk. Then alternate 60 seconds of jogging and 90 seconds of walking for a total of 20 minutes. Finish with 5 minute cool down walk. Total workout 30 minutes.

The workout went better than I thought it would. Its been too long since I ran. I've never really liked to run but I know its something that will help get me back where I need to be. Maybe if I keep telling myself I LIKE TO RUN it'll happen.

    I LIKE TO RUN, I LIKE TO RUN, I LIKE TO RUN. Just keep saying it over and over. You can do this and yes, it is hard work. But, nothing worthwhile is ever easy. Keep us posted on your progress ( I know there will be progress). emoticon
