I played baseball most of my younger life, from 6 years old into my forties. I used to root for the Washington Senators, until they left town (twice). I did without baseball for 32 years because I just couldn't root for another team. In 2005 the Expos moved to Washington DC and became the Washington Nationals. I have been in bliss ever since. The Nats haven't won a lot of games (just like the old Senators) but I see promise that they will get better. Their season is over for this year and I'm already going through withdrawal symptoms. It feels wonderful to have something to feel passionate about. Boy, just wait until next spring!
