and the devil in disguise!! emoticon

Over the past several months, he has really ramped up his baking! He LOVES to bake! emoticon

Everything from emoticon to emoticon to emoticon.

Clearly he has seem over the past 22 years, my struggle with weight! emoticon.

He must like me fat! emoticon.

I put my winter coat on last night so I could take my dog out, and I could barely close it!!!

emoticon

I blame Jim! emoticon

Alright... NO he isn't shoving it down my throat! Nor is he making me eat 2 or 3 or more, of what ever it is he just made.

emoticon

I have 3 very nice winter coats and NO money to replace them.

So,
I'd better start emoticon so I can fit into those coats in a few weeks...

Getting on the elliptical...

    Eep.
Have you spoken to him seriously about this issue?
Maybe he could get into whole grain bread baking.

Try getting him to change his recipes! I still love to bake cookies, but now replace the butter with applesauce, all purpose flour with wheat flour, chocolate chips with dark chocolate, and sugar with splenda! That way, when you work out the "damage" done, it might not be as bad.

    Good luck!!

    Hi Susan,

WTF with that first person's comment. I think I am offended - "very touching and positive blog" - bull sh*t. Okay - hopefully that's not a friend!

I understand kiddo where you are coming from. I have taken a completely different track - once a week - on Sunday evening - I got to the doughnut shop and buy 4 of my favorite doughnuts. It has been working and I am able to get through the weeks because I know I can have my treats. Maybe try it out and see what happens?

My hubby will always excuse a slip - oh babe - don't worry about it - let's order pizza! :-). They love us and I swear the chubby thighs and big butt (I'm talking about me now) don't seem to bother them a bit.

What's that all about??? But we love them anyway - even though we want to strangle them sometimes!!

    Love you lots,
    Lisa emoticon

No, he's not evil. He just has a high calorie hobby! :) My SO likes a lot of sweets too and there are always TONS of things to eat at home. That doesn't mean I have to ignore it nor do I have to eat it all. There is somewhat of a middle ground there. Sometimes 2 forkfulls can be enough to satisfy that sweet tooth. Sometimes it takes the whole cake. Perhaps you can tell hubby to only bake once a week, or once every 2 weeks. Or, have him bake and take stuff to his workplace.
    Good luck, and keep exercising!
