I saw photos

Sunday, November 29, 2009

My nieces took lots of photos at a family gathering yesterday and put them on Facebook this morning. I could clearly see my weight loss and it's given me encouragement to continue.

I also weighed myself yesterday and have lost another 2 lbs. That's 5.5 in 3 weeks. Instead of looking at the BIG number that I have to lose, I just wanted to first get down to the next 10's. So I have now gone from the 250's to the 240's. Woohoo..... I only started exercising hard and regularly 2 weeks ago so if I continue and up the intensity when I can then I should be shedding that unwanted blubber like it's going out of fashion !!

I WILL be in the 230's by New Years !!!

Small numbers are the way to go in this. It's the little steps that make everything fall into place.

here's to your continuing success and Rock on!

Photos are the way to go!!! That is why I take so many and post them on my Spark page. When I look at my body on a daily basis I do not see a difference at all, even when I am wearing smaller clothes... but when I look at old pictures and compare them to new ones I see how great I am doing. I encourage everybody to take lots of pics!

Congrats on your weightloss. You are well on your way!

I've been looking at weight loss the same way...not the BIG picture but just going down to the next tier...from 250's to 240's etc...just like you said. It makes for great inspiration to keep on! You are doing GREAT! Keep up the hard work and excellent attitude!!!

I agree, it is easier to do it in little chunks than having to sweat and work on the big picture :) I have cut mine down even further to 5 lbs increments.

Keep going! Once you start losing weight you know you got it down pat... now the figuring it out part is done...

10 pound goals are great. they help you feel successful and push you to continue to the next step. Keep up the good work and before you know it you will be under 200.
