Big Fat Time Management Problem

Let's hear it for the working parents who rush to daycare, or rush home to the bus, then rush to do snacks, homework, laundry, cleaning, dinner.. then it's 10:00 at night!!! Where's that workout supposed to fit in again???
Let's do it in the morning, ok, let's see.. wake up at what. 4:00 am to fit in a workout so you can be done by 5:00, shower and get ready, done by 6:00 , just in time to get the kids up, dressed, fed and on the bus by 7:30.. IF YOU'RE LUCKY!!! And what if you have to get a baby to daycare, or be at work by 8 and you have an hour commute??? I'm not waking up at 3:00 am to get in a freakin' workout.
If I get home at 5:30 and do my workout right when I get home, I'm done by 6:30 and if the hubby cooks we eat by 7:30 or so and then we have some relaxation time. If I cook though, I can't fit in my workout until 8:30 or 9 since the food has to digest some.
Late workouts are where it's at I guess. But man, it's sure easy to put that work out off if you're feeling tired.
I guess that's why this is a journey. Time management, portion control, healthy choices. It's just not going to happen in a day, is it?
