I slept better last night...maybe it was the small (very small) glass of wine I had or the fact that I was just exhausted and finally relaxed enough to get some better sleep. I woke up a few times, but that is normal for me. I do feel better today.

The weather report today is that by this afternoon the temperature should go up a little. At least the wind stopped and it won't feel like it's below zero. I don't mind the colder temps, but when it gets to the teens and below, that's a little too cold for me to want to walk outside. And to think I used to enjoy skiing a little and would not have thought twice about going. emoticon

My husband has been asking for Christmas gift ideas from me. Along the way to a more healthy me, a few people have suggested hiring a personal trainer to help me get through the plateaus. I've had it suggested a number of times and am now thinking that might not be such a bad idea. That personal, one-on-one instruction might be just the thing I need. I can work with someone who can make sure I'm doing things correct, but still be able to do it at home which is where I prefer to exercise. So, it's now on my wish list...but my husband said he thinks I'm looking great the way I am now! I love that man.

Thank God we have supportive husbands, alot of women don't. I think a personal trainer would be an awesome gift to yourself although it looks like you are doing great!

It is painfully cold here but like you, yesterday's wind is gone so that makes it only slightly more tolerable. I just got back from mallwalking with 2 friends I met here on SP. In an hour I'm getting my hair cut and colored- the first REAL gift to myself since joining SP!

Glad you're sleeping better----that's sooo important.
