Ok, 2009 wasn't much of a success. I SWORE that I would lose 40 pounds, which is completely achievable, but I managed to blow it. Why? Because it takes THOUGHT to be healthy! Unhealthy acts are pretty much a non register with my brain. Things like eating takeout, wolfing candy, not taking time to exercise...missed it! Planning for healthy meals, taking time to exercise, entering my food intake.....oh no, thinking!!!! I know the whole point is to make healthy choices a LIFESTYLE, but why is it so darn hard?! When I am successfully losing weight I become OBSESSED with exercise and my diet. I talk about my food choices, exercise plan, food preps, health tips until those around me pretty much want to strangle me with my exercise band! So, in 2010 I am going to make the following changes.
1. Exercise at least one hour 5 days a week. It doesn't HAVE TO KILL ME, but I need to get into a HABIT.
2. Log my food intake for one month, then see where I need to adjust. Committing to logging my food every day for a year kind of scares me. I'll start with a SMALL goal.
3. I will NOT weigh myself every freaking two days! I will only weigh twice a month, so I don't become the crazy lady that carts her scale to work.....again. =o)
Wish me luck............2010 IS going to be my year!
