As some of you may know, I've signed up for a 14K in Feb, my first 1/2 marathon in March and I'm joining KATMOMMA3, MSWEEZER & SEKSUNSHINE for the hardest 1/2 marathon in the northwest in April. Sometimes I scare myself and wonder what I'm thinking. LOL
So I've been training and today was the day I decided to test my stamina and endurance. I was going for my best and 4 hours on the treadmill. So here's the results:
I ran 9 miles in 104mins at 5 mph (I got my 14k in the bag - Yea!!)
I walked after that for 72 min at 3.8 mph
And I finished by walking another 71 min at 3.5 mph
Total time 247 min or 4hrs and 7 min and a total of 16.5 miles.
My legs officially feel like rubber bands, but I did it and I'm tooting my own horn! Toot Toot LOL. Robie Creek, here I come!
