Every third week of exercise I'm putting an emphasis on yoga. I'm happy for that because my left leg is hurting and stiff from the beginner running training. I'm convinced on an intuitive level that "downward facing dog' is going" is going to firm up my arms.
And while I make this happen, a shift is going on. My weight has been hovering in the same place, but now I'm more focused on the fitness progress over the next 5 months. The progress on the scale will follow. What I want from the progressive fitness plan is the thing that is getting me up in the morning to exercise. The scale isn't the motivator now. I think I kinda like this shift.
