Making Progress - Week #2

Friday, January 29, 2010

Whoop, Whoop! Am down another 2 lbs. this week, for a total of 9.5 lbs. in 14 days. Today I weighed in at 139.5, so I'm finally out of the 140's and have met my Weight Watchers 10% goal today! Besides feeling so good, many positive health benefits come with a 10% weight loss. I'm actually feeling good about going to my annual doctor's appt. next Friday - ha!

My other victory story to share is that I've moved out of my size 8's and into new size 6's this last week. At first I thought the Eddie Bauer jeans I tried on just ran a bit larger, however I bought them with relish! After trying on some pants, jeans & skirts at Macys yesterday, I found out the smaller size actually does fit better - I'm still floored! Feels good to see the scale move so quickly, and yet experience the inches coming off as well - I feel thinner for sure.

I'm an apple shape, so I still have a lot of work to do on my program, losing mainly upper body and belly fat, however, I'm making progress and am excited about where I'll be in just another month! With Medifast you can lose 2-5 lbs. of body fat each week, and I see the results of my efforts paying off!

This week is the beginning of Week #3 for me, so I'm going to add in daily stretching with a dvd workout I have, just to bump up my activity a bit, and then get back into my walking workouts next Friday. It's been nice to just focus on the eating program these past couple of weeks, but now I'm ready to continue moving on with my weekly exercise once again.

This week, I'm also going to add in a Celsius energy drink daily as well - each can burns approximatly 100 calories per day, by helping to increase your metabolism. They have them on sale at Fred Meyer's this week and along with a coupon I have run only $1.00 per can. The Orange and the Peach Mango are great over ice in the afternoon along with my Medifast Chili Cheese Puffs!

Here is to Week #3 - woo hoo!
