Swiss Mocha-Caramel Shake

Happy to say I'm staying true to the guidelines of my plan and am down 10.5 lbs. in 16 days now. I was thrilled when I dropped .50 yesterday, and then amazed with another .50 this morning, even after enjoying grilled steak & salad last night for dinner!

One of the program guidelines I've taken seriously this time around, is limiting my intake on sugar-free espresso syrups to only 2 Tbsp. per day. In the past I admit to adding 1 oz. per shake throughout the day, but now I've come to appreciate the flavors of the shakes in their purest form, and only induldge with my varieties of syrups on occasion. Plus it really helps keep sugar cravings obselete (hence the reason to limit sugar free substitues.) Here is one treat I enjoy:

Swiss Mocha-Caramel Shake

8 oz. cold water
1-2 oz. fat free half & half (1-2 condiment servings)
1 oz. Davinci sugar free caramel syrup (1 condiment serving)
1 package Medifast Swiss Mocha 70 shake (or any chocolate variety of your choice)
1 packet Starbucks VIA instant Decaf Italian Roast coffee
4-6 ice cubes

Blend well in Vita-Mix blender or blender of your choice and enjoy!
