In the interest of complete honesty, I have always had time to get in a daily workout.
I just didn't know where it was.
Part of this "healthy lifestyle" process is finding what works for each of us.
There are some people who relish a stop at the gym early in the morning. The early risers who make the most of their mornings.
Then there are those who add that extra hour on in the evening. A relaxing workout to end a hectic day.
Then there are those of us who know we won't get our lazy butts out of bed in the morning, and are so pressed for time in the evenings that working out is another source of stress.
Oh and wasn't it wonderful? "I just don't have the time to workout!"
But then you really DESIRE change and you HAVE to find time. And suddenly, every post, every article, every healthy living magazine you pick up has an article on squeezing in a work-out over lunch.
There goes our last excuse. Like dust in the wind.
I could walk around the parking lot for 30 minutes over my lunch, but I opted for the gym. I'm one of those "showing up is half the battle" kind of people. Great ideas, little motivation.
So I committed.
Signed up at the gym, and started going (almost) every day over lunch.
So far, I really really like it.
The next question is, when will I see results???
