Worn out

I’ve read & commented on some blogs this morning dealing with “falling off the wagon” over the Valentine’s weekend or just making overall bad decisions . I also came across Katmomma3’s blog “When things get rough”. And how appropriate that blog is!

She mentions to Spark more during those rough times to gain the priceless support from your team mates. Yes it’s a rough time for me, so I’m trying to Spark more.

Here at work, we have more auditors in – Geesh! First our CPA auditors, then auditors for California for our sales tax returns and now the bank auditors. Auditors definitely add to the work load! My coworker is taking Thursday & Friday off this week so I’ll have to cover for him. On top of working full time, I run a home business as a CPA. Needless to say, I’ve prepared over 50 tax returns so far and it’s only the 16th of February. My day starts at 5am and doesn’t end until 10pm at night. I’m by no means complaining and there is light at the end of the tunnel April 15th.

I’ve also been training for my 14K I ran this past Saturday and have a ½ marathon in March and one in April with Katmomma3 & MsWeezer. I refused to sacrifice my exercise (my “Jenn” time) in all of this but it’s definitely getting harder with time constraints.

Lastly, I processed so many returns last night and looked at so many numbers that my head was spinning. Therefore, I lay in bed wide away last night.

So my Spark friends – I am worn out! Thanks for reading this. Sometimes it helps to just write it all down. I will make it!

    Sounds like you sure have had a long and tiring week. I really hope that you get some rest and relax time in there some how. I am glad that you are still pushing through and getting in that important Jenn time. Woohoo.

    I try to get in a hard workout to flush all that stuff from my brain. When I am finished with the workout, I can't even remember what I was stressed about. Love it. emoticon
