Busy days lately!

Tuesday, February 23, 2010

Hi all my Spark friends! I just wanted everyone to know I'm truly sorry for my lack of Sparking here lately. And I really miss it and miss the interaction with the teams. I've been barely able to tread above the waters.

On a positive note, I've had many new clients with my home based tax business this year!! But there is only so many hours in a day. I've worked really hard to stay on top of things and have been successful with that so far. Here at my "day job" - we've had different auditors in back to back since the beginning of the year. Is not hard, just the same stuff asked by each one is time consuming. Needless to say, my daily work here piles up on my desk.

The sacrifice - my sparking daily and in the evenings and my "Jenn time" of daily exercise. I haven't been able to exercise like I wanted each evening and for those participating in the Just Do It - Making Me Important challenge, you may have noticed my commitment post of only 30 min each day. I had the mindset if I can't do 60 min then it's not worth it - but how wrong. At this point, I'll take what I can get! But I really need to MAKE THE TIME and put me first (I don't mean to sound selfish but it's really important to me)

There is a HUGE carrot dangling in the near future!! One I remind myself of daily! On April 15th (ha ha tax day) I fly out to KATMOMMA3 with MSWEEZER on the plane with me for the second leg. SEKSUNSHINE will meet us in Boise, ID. I just can't wait. I feel like a kid at Christmas to meet my Spark Friends and participate in the hardest 1/2 marathon in the Northwest. (which is the reason I need to train and make the time).

So - sorry I haven't sparked as much! But now that the auditors are gone I hope I can get back to the more personal interaction with my team mates that I so dearly miss!

Thanks to all of you for your support, motivation and encouragement!! You guys are the emoticon

Definitely take the 30 minutes over the 0 minutes :) on good days you may get 60 in and that will be a bonus! Keep training and you'll be more than ready for the big run! be proud of what you can do and use that happiness to move forward! :)

Life just has to give us a tug when it thinks we are to into ourselves, to bad that most of the time life is the one that needs the tug, lol. You knew you were going to be busy this year with both your job and your home based job, just like Kat, it is that time of year for you both. I am sorry you had to miss spark time as much as you have, but I know that you will be back in full force asap. Just be sure to get that training time time in, don't Robie kicking you to the curb! You will make it through, I know you will! emoticon emoticon emoticon

It's so amazing to me that the "guilt" monster comes up when we women want to have time for just us.

    You have been missed!

And I'm getting excited for all of you doing that 1/2 marathon, and a little envious, if truth be told. But I have to crawl before I walk...... emoticon
