Can't wait to fill out my goal progress tomorrow! I haven't been too great with food, but the gym has been good.

Dinner Club on Friday was great! We were all kinda upset that Hannah bailed though; Rama got this awesome cake for Hannah, as Friday was her birthday. We stayed out really late! Clara left after 10 since she had to be up at 5, but Ali, Kori, Kathy, and I stayed until almost midnight. There just nothing like good conversation, even when the roads are icy. At least they were okay driving home! Nick also won twenty bucks at poker night, which has evolved as a counter to our Dinner Club. Girl - Dinner Club, Boy - Poker Night. It's cute, and I'm glad Nick gets to go out and be around people he doesn't work with X_X

I hung out with my mom and Kori alllllll day on Saturday, it was awesome and soo very nice. I even got started on my new scrapbook! Our 'year one' book is not so photo intense so I was able to start it without photos, which I can't afford to print :(

Today I indulged in some reading, applied for two jobs at Ohio State, and went to the gym with Nick and Kori! We're all loving the sauna at the Sawmill Common's gym!!!

I wanted to ask about though; I've been using the recumbent bike, and while I put it on the highest intensity, and stay above ten miles an hour, I don't feel as if it's enough. I upped it to the next level of intensity but only lasted about three minutes on it! I did half an hour on level 5 (of ten) intensity, that really a good work out? I sweated a little, but not a lot, and my legs were not very very tired. Have to see if/how sore I am from weight lifting, but I'm not sure that I'm doing enough there either :P Feedback please??

    I'm not sure what a recumbent bike is o.0; I can't really help you there. I'm not sure whether intensity can be measured by how much you sweat. I work my BUTT! off in aerobics classes to the point where I have a tight chest the rest of the day (exercise induced athesma?) but I hardly sweat. When I'm on a stationary bike, though, and really working my lower body, I feel like I sweat bullets but I don't feel physically worked. Y'know? So I don't know how to measure that.

    I didn't realize you were a scrapbooker :D I am too. I am working on a 1-year for Jeff and I too :) I'm surprised at how many pictures I have since it's all long distance =x I cheated, though lol.. I printed out online comics that we read and e-mails to show what we do in between visits.

    Your girls-night sounds like such a good time. I should start doing that around here too =P

    Glad to see a new blog in my mail this morning.

    Better to get ANY movement in than none at all. I'm not a recumbent fan, but you can sit and pedal for hours without your seat going numb. Good low aerobic workout.

    Yeah, I often find I don't feel like I have worked as hard on the recumbent bike. Whenever I use it, I am also at intensity 5 usually on the hill program. I recently switched to the same workout on the upright bike and feel the burn a little more. Unsure if it is just the positioning on the recumbent bike that makes it feel easier, even though I am not really sure if it is.

    Either way, congratulate yourself on getting to the gym and working out. You will find what is the best workout for you.
