reorganizing

Monday, March 01, 2010

First day, so good -- I stayed up and got about 25 minutes of a workout in by 5:45 a.m. then it was off to wait at the bus stop for/with my kid. I got in some brief stuff when I came back into the house (see Jan to June focus journal--link is on sparkpage).

The fire of wanting it off has cooled down to the embers. My thyroid issue doesn't seem to let me call it yet, that is, I can't plan to reduce one pound and then actually see the progress by goal date. So, I'm switching the goal mind set. I'm working on the dialy discipline stuff, knowning that the daily tune up for my body helps me have a good day. I don't know if it is the compounded medication that doesn't work as well, but I'll get the armour thyroid back, so I can find out ---- but see, that still means that it is the medicine not the effort that controls the rate of progress.

Well I had more that 10 years when my progress was only climbing upwards on the scale, so even if this downward trend is agonizingly slow, at least it is in the right direction! It's nice to feel my muscles have shape and to feel the good, "ah" of the tune-up effect.

So, it's emoticon time, slow and steady, digging at it every day.

I love going to the bus stop with my son. We always run there and I try to beat the bus back to the house.

Great Attitude! Keep up the good work. I know it's hard and sometimes it feels like it'll never happen but it will. You can do this!
