Final Goal, Maintenance & Freedom

Saturday, April 03, 2010

After hitting my first goal weight on February 26th, I decided I would still be happy with a few more lbs. I'm happy to say that after a few more weeks of slowly increasing my daily calories, that I was still able to lose weekly, and yesterday hit my final goal weight - 128.0!

It's still amazing to me that I was able to lose 21 lbs. in 11 weeks, but am so happy I put forward my best efforts, as I'm now shopping for size 4's and feeling very good about what I've been able to achieve in so many regards!

Although I have kept my cardio and strength training to a bare minium these past weeks, now at week #12 I am refocusing on these goals - getting back into my Leslie Sansone walk at home workouts as well as strength training 2-3x each week for additional toning & fat losses!

It's been a life changing journey this time around, even though I'm using a plan that has worked for me for over 4 years - when I followed the guidelines to a tee, trusted the plan, I was able to achieve my final weight goal quickly! Now with the beauty of spring, I no longer need to focus on losing weight (which I've done forever), but maintaining as I continue on my journey! Woo hoo! Thank you Lord, for the strength you've given me and the freedom I can now experience in my life! I've been set-free and it's wonderful!
