Still Overwhelmed

Wednesday, April 14, 2010

I signed up with Spark People on Feb. 7. There was so much information I was overwhelmed.I muddled around and not being exactly computer literate, I was embarrassed I wasn't sure how to get started and that I would make stupid mistakes trying. Finally, on March 7 I got my Spark Page posted,Took a break before I started a blog, came back and discovered I know longer had internet service. Quest was making repairs on their lines, laying new cables ect.. Two or three days became five weeks, was back online Apr. 12 at 4:00 PM. I am an emotional eater. I gained two lbs. worrying about Spark People cancelling me out, after five weeks with no contact.
I have been fighting this obesity problem forever,it seems. For health reasons it's imperative I lose weight. Besides, I'll soon be 75 years old and "I have things to do and places to go." Fat keeps me more handicapped than health problems. With the help of SPARK, maybe I can still have some fun in my life. DESTINYCALLS47

Hey Destinycalls. I don't think Spark would cancel anybody out! For being an emotional eater and only gaining two lbs. That is like so good. The first thing since you have your page up is to read all the emails that spark sends you especially the nutrition and fitness.
Go to your start page, scroll down to the different diet stages and read about the fast break diet. I was on it for about a month. I didn't want to make any mistakes. LOL If you have any questions spark mail me and I will try to help.
