Weekly Goal - Met

Tuesday, April 27, 2010

I tracked my food yesterday using the handy dandy Sparkpeople food tracker. I had listen tracking my food once a week as part of my weekly goals. I listen everything I put in my mouth. At first it seemed I was doing good. When I got home, after Zumba, I had several calories left to eat. I was starving. So I ate, what I felt like were good choices of food. Well after tracking them I realized they would have been if I didn't eat so much of them. So I went a little over. But once again I was starving.
So I learned something, I learned that food adds up quickly. I kind of like this goal of tracking. I just might do it twice next week.
Even though I wasn't good at keeping my calories in range I am still proud of myself for doing this...............making this a goal met. emoticon

You can check out my food tracker on my page. Feel free to tell me what I did wrong or compliment me. I will take any feedback you got.

As i'm learning Tracking isn't just about picking the right foods or even quanities to eat, but it allows you to see a pattern in your eating habits. Like i've noticed i make good choices at home but some of the worst choices nutrition and portion wise when i'm out and about at meal times (even if i eat at a place with healthy options).

It's good you're tracking, as you notice the patterns in your eating you'll have no problem staying in your calorie range (something i'll admit i'm still working on)
