Today.... Today .... Today

Today while I was driving to work, Tim McGraw's song "The Next Thirty Years" came on the radio and it got me thinking. Now I'm closer to 40 than 30, but it still rings true. I realized I need to celebrate my life, what I have accomplished and leave the things that I haven't behind and turn the page, start anew. I need to focus on what I need to do from here on out and make that my mission. So watch out world here comes a 37 year old lady that is about to have some serious fun and conquer a bunch of hurdles in her life!

Today ... Today is a beautiful day outside for taking photos, it's not overly bright and not to overcast. Just the right amount of natural light to make your photos come alive. Today is also Wednesday, which is the day I work a full shift, I still have 4 1/2 more hours in the work day (lunch break right now) and then I have a 5:30 meeting with a potential client. No photography for me today.

Today ... today someone put a coupon for a free sub at Firehouse subs on my desk. The picture of the wonderfully fresh sub looked so yummy, but I fought it off and drank my water as I ran it thru the shedder. No turning back now, victory is mine, you sneaky little free sub coupon.

Today ... I am feeling positive, upbeat and just all around happy to be me! I wish I could be outside, but I'm employeed, I have a job that I love, I have 3 wonderful children at home who think I'm a pretty cool Mum and my husband worships the ground I walk on (ok sometimes he thinks I'm a stubborn SOB, but TODAY is not one of those days). So I'm happy that today is just another wonderful day in my little life.
