Mother's Day

Monday, May 10, 2010

- Mother's Day started out with my daughter waking us up at 7am. Lol. The whole family has been sick all week and we kinda wanted to sleep in. I kinda rolled around in bed then got up because the kiddos said he wanted to show me something. Awwwww, the they both made me a colorful pictures that says "Happy Mother's Day." I told my hubby not to buy my flowers for Mother's Day so he bought me a Warrior t-shirt from the game Warcraft. Lol. www.jinx.com/world_of_wa

I love my new shirt. :D

I felt so awful during the morning. I was sick, and I was tired. The funny thing was I felt worse just sitting there. So I put my running clothes on and went on the treadmill for a half hour. Oh gosh it made me feel so much better! When I got the blood flowing I felt more awake and less sicky.

We then went to a family picnic at a lake since it was a nice day. There was sooo much food! But I was proud of myself because I only ate the chicken, some fruit and green beans. And I didn't even feel like having a cupcake! (But I did have a cookie...hey, I made them, I wanted to know what it tasted like! Lol.) I did get some comments about my weight too. I thought the funny one was from my Dad. He asked if I was starving myself. I said no, I just count my calories and exercise a little each day.
We also went to another Mother's Day party. But I still wasn't hungry so I drank some ice tea. I think overall it was a great day. For being a Mother and health wise.
