Going at it again...

Life is changing again for me right now... quit my job in February to help my 19yr old with a college class... (stressed me out more than I think I realized)... 13 yr old struggles with some classes in school... School is out in 2 1/2 days... goals are: (hoping that posting them here & putting them on the fridge will help)

Drink 8+ glasses water daily (this has been hard for me & you think it would be so easy!!)

Exercise on treadmill or outside every other day & strength training on the other days

Read a motivational story (try to daily)

Track my eating & fitness

Thank yous to all the encouragement --past & present!!!! :) I would like to be at that point again!!! Last year (summer) the #'s were going down & when I started working at school in September, they started going up --fast!! Am trying to take things one day at a time, minute at a time, etc...

    Yes, it was very stressful. I was working as a paraprofessional one on one with a 7th grade boy who also was in my son's class. Not very good to mix mom & son together 5 out of 8 classes a day!! Also, he would be my most strong-willed one... I went from full-time to part-time (2-3 days a week) in December and then finally quit for good in February. I've got a 1st & 3rd grader and our oldest is living at home while going to college, so it has been good to be able to be at home right now... hoping to focus some on my weight issue(s)

    It does sound like the stress at work was messing with your system big time and preventing weight loss.

    You stated you started gaining weight when you started the job. Can I guess that you went through stress at the job?

    You have the power within you to let the stress go. Allow life to enfold without your worry. Have faith instead of fretting. Life has a way of working out on its own. Take care of you as a priority.
