Whole Foods Menus for the Week ...

I love whole foods challenges. They are a real challenge for me, but I feel so good when I eat foods as close to their natural state as possible. Plus, I always have great weigh-ins at the end of the week!

Monday:
Breakfast: whole cooked oats, banana, 1 cup skim milk

Lunch: whole foods scrambled eggs (eggs, EVOO, spices, milk), carrot sticks, peach

Snack: banana and apple cut up with cinnamon

Dinner:
Whole food stir fry - beef strips, vegetables (carrots, cauliflower, broccoli), EVOO, spices, served with whole food fried rice (brown rice, EVOO, egg, spices, frozen peas)

Snack: strawberries

Tuesday:
Breakfast: whole cooked oats, banana, 1 cup skim milk

Lunch: Leftover whole food stir fry with brown rice, peach, apple

Snack: pineapple

Dinner: Whole food casserole - ground beef, soaked and cooked small red beans (not canned), onions, EVOO, spices; satsuma

Snack: sweet potato fries (sweet potato, EVOO, salt)

Wednesday:
Breakfast: whole cooked oats, banana, 1 cup skim milk

Lunch: leftover casserole, apple

Snack: mango

Dinner: Whole food stew - chicken pieces, carrots, new potatoes (with skin), celery, onions, EVOO, spices; fresh fruit

Snack: sweet potato fries (sweet potato, EVOO, salt)

Thursday:
Breakfast: whole cooked oats, banana, 1 cup skim milk

Lunch: Leftover stew, satsuma

Snack: fresh fruit

Dinner: NON-WHOLE FOODS - banquet with my family

Snack: NON-WHOLE FOODS

Friday:
Breakfast: whole cooked oats, banana, 1 cup skim milk

Lunch: whole foods scrambled eggs (eggs, EVOO, spices, milk), apple and other fresh fruit

Snack: fresh fruit

Dinner: brown rice and beans, banana

Snack: sweet potato fries


Saturday:
Breakfast: whole cooked oats, banana, 1 cup skim milk

Lunch: leftover brown rice and beans

Snack: attending a BABY SHOWER. May have NON-WHOLE FOODS snacks

Dinner: chicken, fried potatoes (with skin), veggies (brussels sprouts, corn)

Snack: fresh fruit

Sunday:
Breakfast: whole cooked oats, banana, 1 cup skim milk

Lunch: scrambled eggs with EVOO, milk, spices; fresh fruit

Snack: fresh fruit

Dinner: roast pork, fried rice (brown rice, egg, EVOO, spices), veggies

Snack: sweet potato fries

    What is EVOO? Looks great,but if you don't mind me making a suggestion I noticed some snacks that you are not consuming any protein with your carbs. The protein will keep your metabolism up longer and your blood sugar more stable. Keep upthe great wokr and organization.
