So, I am almost at the end of my first 5K training program, and I compete this coming Sunday. what I am wondering is what to do now.
I am up to running for 4 minutes at a time, with 1 minute walks in between. I do that 8 times to complete 5K.
I am wondering what I can do next week and the next and the next.
Do I work towards running for longer periods for each rep, first 5 minutes the first week, then 6 minutes, etc.? Or do I work on getting faster with my 4 minutes or just adding reps to my 4 minute/1 minute cycles?
Any ideas sparkers?
