Fate, Karma, Destiny, Does it Matter???

Saturday, August 07, 2010

I have always believed in astrology, horoscopes, the sun, the moon, the planets.
I believe their location through out our lives play a force in our everyday living.
I also believe thats where fate, karma and destiny comes in. It's all there in the circle of life.
The other day my horoscope was: " A friend or a group with which you're affiliated, could be transforming not only your personality, but your very life. The changes could be taking place at a very deep level. You could be surprised, but don't be upset. Everyone changes and for you, this transmutation will in the long run, prove a positive one. Go with the flow."
Now to me that sounds like Spark, and how I have grown and changed my thoughts on living a healthy lifestyle.
Here's another one that hit home: " Find your strength from within. There is a great deal of it tucked down in there, and more than likely it will be ready to spew forth like a volcano. Don't be afraid to take things to the ectreem"
Readings like this encourage me to work harded at my exercises. Trying new ones going the extra mile.
Today I read:" Healthwise you're feeling alert, strong, and full of energy and stamina. As a result your sense of adventure is high and you maybe exploring the possibility of an interesting vacation. This is a good idea, as the trend in your physical condition is to continue."
Just yesterday I told the family I was planning on returning to Italy next year .
I know I will be able to move around well, I will look ten times more healthy and fit. So I want to see my relatives and friends again.
Now what ever anyone else thinks about horoscopes or the reading of the stars, moon and planets, is irrelevant. I believe, and I find the subject of astrology fascinating, very interesting.
Was it fate or destiny that I read the article in Good Housekeeping about Spark and went on line to check it out?. I think so. The Good Housekeeping magazine was in a pile to give away. At the time I just flipped through it and landed on the article about Spark. The results changed how I approach living out the rest of my life.
Do I have an aurora of good karma around me.???? I believe I do. I know I am positive about all aspects of my life. That was not always the case.
What ever one believes in , believe in yourself. Establish that positive belief and you can go far.
Now for the moment I have been waiting for. I am now weighing 251. Lost 3 pounds this week. Do you see I am almost under 250.? This time next week I expect to see a number that looks like 24?. I won't jinks myself with the last number. I will let fate, destiny or the positive karma that surrounds me show that number next Saturday at the weigh in.
I do want to thank all the Sparkers who along this journey have encouraged and motivated me to keep pushing forward. Stay with me, I need you.
The journey is far from over but I'm at a good happy place in my life.
Don't forget to look out for the elderly or any shut in neighbors during this extreme heat spell we are having across the country.
Keep your self hydrated and special care for pets. Lots of shade and water. If its cooler in the house see if the pets can come in.
I wish everyone a happy weekend.
Peace and Love. Tisha.

Just came across your name in the Over 60 team. What a great blog. I, too, have been truly inspired by sparkPeople and the magnificent support I get here. I am on a journey too.

I am really impressed with your 3 miles in 45 mins. Gives me something to look forward to. I am working on 1 mile in 30 (am very short and 125 pounds overweight).

    together we can do this.

You are awesome!! Keep up the good work.... emoticon
    Great blog.....and some great thoughts....

I too believe in the change that SP has wrought for me. Of course, the other changes are nice, but I believe that I have changed from within, just to get where I am now. I'm still working on my self esteem, but I know that no matter how much weight I lose, I have to stay positive....and know that I really am a beautiful person.

You are on a roll. Don't stop or let anything sidetrack you and you will have a great vacation, and be in the 240's next week. One day, one week, and one month at a time is the way it's done.
