Little Blessings

It has been a very long day. At first as I sit here I was thinking I didn't accomplish anything today, at least around the house. then the light came on. Drove some girls to camp today (4 hour round trip)Needed an extra driver. so what did I do. Said "sure I will take them." what did I just say were my first thoughts to myself. Oh well too late now. I was blessed by the girls, I was honored to take them.
I had to think quick oh no! forgot about my daughter at home. Ran home, woke up my 10 year old daughter, who was,by the way, sound asleep. Was taking care of my 2 year old grandbaby. Threw them in the car and said we are going to Waupaca today! HUH? was the expression. Off we went three 10 year olds and a 2 year old. We had so much fun, we played car games I have never heard of. I think these girls were making them up as we went along. Rules were changing all the time LOL Totally forgot about what I had to do today.

Just let the Lord lead the way. Stayed focused on Him and had the best day ever!!! emoticon

I used to play cool games in the car with our kids going to St.Petes in Florida from Toronto. Of course hubby was driving. So then it was fun.

Now my Gradkids are grown, playing rugby and soccer, so Grandma here said. I will pass. I will watch.

So at home. I have to do my own fun.

Kids are SO fun, aren't they??! They can be SO creative and come up with the "coolest" games just thinking on the fly... I used to find some of THE best times with my kids was while we were in the car!! I really miss those times... Maybe tomorrow you can get some "stuff" done at home...??! emoticon
