A 5K on the treadmill!

A 5K in 50 minutes on the treadmill at the GYM last night.
That's right, I said THE GYM.
Who said that? Oh, right...
the non-gym person.

I know 50 minutes for a 5K is nothing to crow about but I felt like it was pretty respectable.

It wasn't crowded. There were lots of treadmills available so that was pretty good.

There were some younger guys there. It was kind of funny actually. Doing all this amazing work on their amazing, beautiful, defined shoulders.
Not so much.
Kinda skinny. VERY out of proportion, I'll tell you that.

I think my anxiety last night was pretty well summed up by Onekidsmom in her comment on my blog. The going back is the hard part. I haven't been there in...
two years?
maybe even more.

Maybe I'll look back into the yoga classes.

I also saw that they offerend Zumba. and I've been dying to try that but...
well... I just didn't...

Honestly, I aggravate me.

Oh OH!! But you know what? I just figured out what the real problem is... It's not that they ignore me. They do. Everyone ignores EVERYONE. It's just not a very friendly environment, overall. It feels very forbidding. I don't remember the other gym I belonged to YEARS ago feeling like that, but, I did go to the gym with my friend so maybe everyone was like that there too, but I just didn't notice...
Nothin' like a blog to set your mind straight, I always say...
