I took my measurements, something I'm doing officially at the first of the month. My waist is down 1 inch. My belly is down 1.5 inches. My thigh is 1/2 an inch smaller. (doing the happy dance!) I've noticed different body things, muscle lines in my legs, and my elbows don't have skin sag hanging over them. This is the best monthly progress that I have recorded and this is my 5th year of having a calendar, just to focus on fitness. The doc increased my medication mid month in August. It seems that I've hit a balance point and my efforts are being recognized by my body. It's hard to get excited about the same results next month. I'm not close enough to goal for the shift of calorie expenditure (burning less for the same effort as you get more fit). It's that I have not yet been able to call it and make it happen. At any rate, I'll keep working at it!
