This week was a real struggle. But I stuck to my fitness and nutrition goals all week, racking up 4 100% days and losing 2.5 pounds.
This morning DH and I started C25K over again with W1D1 and the run went very well for both of us. DH even said that he's committed to doing the whole program now, which was not the case before.
So now I'm much more energized and am not going through the motions; I'm actually enjoying the journey to health and fitness. This was really what I was aiming for and I successfully faked it until I made it.
We stopped by REI this morning and I got myself a reward for my 100% days: a new Camelbak and bike helmet. The bike will be my reward for dropping from "obese" to "overweight" on the BMI scale - which is only 2.6 pounds away!!! I'm not sure which I'm more excited about: the weight loss or the bike. Hmmm, definitely the bike!
