Meet Mogi...A New Family Member! :-D

Thursday, October 14, 2010

Long time no see guys....The last time we met here life was kicking my butt all over the place. I decided to take some time off and I gained a lot of peace of mind in that time but also gained some weight back! Got a little to relaxed! But I am back at it and hoping things will be a little more mellow for me the rest of the year. This year completely flooded out all my chances of fishing and just recently we have gone about 20 straight days without rain which is the longest spell we have had in years. I've gone from having webbed feet to arid desert....Geez! But we got to go camping which was great. I had a come to Jesus and decided to have a family reunion to help heal some of the problems we experience. I think it helped with most of the family and I sure got a lot of satisfaction out of getting together with all of them. My oldest sister was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease last year and she was back visiting so I thought it was a perfect time to bring the family together to rally around her and show her how much we love her and support her. My Mother is 87 and she enjoyed having the family all get together and act like a family unit...I think she got pretty overwhelmed and she had to rest in the middle of it all. Scared me to death for a moment but she was ok. I apologized to my family for any thing I had ever done to alienate them and I think that helped to mend the gap between all of us. I feel good about making the effort with my family and hope they will continue to respond. I got some new critters in that time away which I am sure surprises all of you LOLOL! NO NEW SNAKES THOUGH!!! LOL! Got a pair of English Budgies, a little Netherland Dwarf bunny named Nippy Nettie Nutter Butter and a Mosaic colored Chinchilla named Mogi. I will take pictures of them all but do have some pictures of my sweet Mogi boy.

This is Mogi's condo! LOL!
Here are some pictures of my youngest Grandson Coleton Marcus...

little guy scratched himself so mama had to tend to his little nails after this shot

The Michelin man with his sideways Harrison Ford grin that I love so much!! He loves MeMaw to sing to him and when I am around he is all about where I am and keeping his sites sets on me. Of course I soak it all up like a sponge!
Here is a cute picture of my oldest Grandson Jon wearing papa's fishing hat.

Well there ya have it...I miss ya all and I am working hard on getting myself motivated again and back on track. Thanks to all who have messaged me and didn't give up on me...if not for all of you I may not have come back. Love to all!!

Sorry, I was out of town when you posted this. It sounds like you're working on some important stuff which will only help things as you get back to the weight loss journey.

You should charge admission to your zoo! :-)

Glad to have you back!!! Glad you got to "bury the hatchet" so to speak with the family. Clearly life is too short, so for whatever reason, it's great you pulled everyone together for a good time!
Your new additions sound great and Mogi is beautiful!!!
All the rain you've had and we've been pretty dry. Finally getting a little wet stuff last night and this morning. Oh well.

It's good to hear from you. I'm sorry that you had such a miserable summer. Ours was cool and wet, but no flooding. Farmers around here are still trying to get their grain crops harvested.

I hope to be seeing more of you around here. Mogi is a real cutie and so are the grandchildren.
