week 11, 12 week countdown

I'm starting week 11 trying to catch up on sleep. I may have to get the bulk of my exercise done after my workday. My weight went up after the weekend, bouncing right back to where I started, even though I had brought it down 3 lbs! Funny how I checked my weight at 5:15 am and then after going back to sleep and my weight went down .5 lb by 6:30 am. I don't get it! The official weigh in with the doc is Wednesday.
When this flux happens I tend to put my faith in exercise. I do think that diet has an effect, but it's hard to tell which culprit is the worst, as I'll do well and poorly after having bread. Whether the gain is water or what, I will repeat the intake and output that brought progress last week.
I still wear some of my size 16's as I don't have much variety in the 14's. I wore my 14 jeans easily yesterday. I'm looking forward to getting this down to 12 --- and beyond!!!!!!
