Week1 down Week 2 I shall conquer you as well!

Tuesday, November 09, 2010

I'm down to 236 this week that is a 7.6lb weight loss. Pretty dang awesome! I always tend to lose a lot the first week or so. I'm aware that the rapid weight loss will not continue but it gives me the encouragement I need to keep going.

Part of my new goal is to eat the most minimally processed foods that I can. I've learned in the last week that in our society that there are two problems with this. 1 fresh fruits, veggies, meat, and dairy are insanely expensive. 2 if you like to go out to eat you will be eating nothing but salad and even then with all the junk they put on and in them it really isn't that minimally processed.

Luckily I enjoy cooking and find it fun and challenging to make something new and exciting every night for dinner.

I'm excited that I've been able to find a balance of eating, calories, exercise, and support system that is working for me. I think that the last thing is very important for me. One of my fellow sparker and I seem to have made a team that is a force to be reckoned with. It's great to be able to have someone to whine to when things aren't going my way and to share my success with when they finally do.

This weeks goals are to be a little stricter on logging all of my food including weekends and to exercise everyday whether I want to or not!

Thanksgiving is coming up soon and I'm excited as I'm in charge of cooking dinner this year. That means two things. 1 I can show off my amazing culinary skills. 2 I can control what goes into the foods and how much of the foods I eat.

I also think that I may send all leftovers to a homeless shelter if I can convince my family of this.

Ok time to get ready for work!

Have a sparktastic day ya'll!
