. . .thankful for. . .

Today was a bit stressful to start. It was filled with incompetant workers then with my car breaking again. I mean really? When is this gonna turn around.

Then I heard some really bad news about a friend and the death of a child and I instantly became humbled. Here I am stressing about materialistic crap and what choices I get to make and how do I get to make myself better and blah blah blah when another persons child has been taken from them all to soon.

It has made me stop and think about how lucky I am to be living the life I am living even with the daily frustrations that I deal with. Really my life could be much worse and I have it pretty easy compared to many.

I am blessed to have a self made family that cares for me and I care about them. My friends are generous, loving, and giving and for that I am extremely thankful and grateful. I am truly a blessed person.

I hope everyone is able to enjoy a happy holiday filled with greatness, joy and love. May you be able to count your blessings and cherish them. You never know when it could all change on a dime.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

We can, we will, we ARE doing this!

xoxoxoxo I understand the car thing. Sorry about the sad news. You are a great person as there are some that would not have humbled themselves the way you did

I came to that same sudden realization myself the other day. It's all too easy to become bogged down in worrying about the small stuff where elsewhere others are having to cope with unimaginable horrors. It suddenly made me realize just how blessed I am too. Loved this blog, even more than your others, mainly because it brought this same point back to me after a day of petty stresses. Thank you!
