the killer trainer

wow i went to my new classes yesterday and a one hour with a personal trainer. she walked around the gym and gave me the set ups and off we went. i found pains in places i didnt know could hurt. lol. you can tell she is military also. thought i was in real bootcamp but its just what i need again so wont complain. going again tonight for another round.
food is still my enemy i can not stand vegetables and its killing me trying to find things to eat that dont get boring. i hate being so picky of an eater and i try new stuff just don't like it. the ways to disguise it are simply bad for me so i must overcome this love/hate relationship i have with the veggies and munch on.

    Oh wow, I finally found another veggie hater. lol!! I have exactly the same problem with them, I only like a handful of veggies so I usually eat the same ones all the time. Sometimes I just try to grin and bear it and and choke down a little broccoli but ''blech'', I do not like it! ... Thanks for your nice message in my blog tonight. Sparkpeople has the nicest people on the web, hands down! I had a really good day today, made good choices, took a nice walk and am well within my calories and fat grams for the day. ... You are doing great, come visit me any time, I love visitors!

    Congrats on making it to the second round! Just remember that the only easy day was yesterday, that should motivate you to push harder the next time. But you'll get used to her style, it just takes time adapting to the new workout routines. I also didn't like my vegetables (and I'm pesca-vegetarian) but what I did to start liking them is to make my plate creative. For example, I love fresh salsa, black bean soup, veggie & egg sandwiches, and so on. You can start liking your veggies by first being creative with your dishes (sandwiches, soup, etc), and slowly start adding veggies to your plate as substitutions. Wishing you the best of reaching your endeavors!

    Hey that is great you can get a trainer! I wish i could .. that way they could tell me how to get rid of this belly fat.. my stomach just slopes out..its very weird..it goes in at my belly button and everywhere else it pokes out.. even when I am thin it won't go down!!! My hubby is military..he TRIED to teach me how to stretch.. we both got frustrated with each other :D I don't like all veggies either.. I love lettuce and green beans (french style in the can) and I don't mind carrots out of a can either or in a stew as long as they aren't hard. so you odn't have to like all of them :D just get some in!
