Updated List

Friday, January 14, 2011

Below is what is left on the list that I have been working on all week, except taking a shower, that is daily, right? Haha The bible should be daily, but I have been slack, need to make it a bigger priority, really. The house is pretty well cleaned and straightened up, I am sure I could find something to do if I looked, but right now, I am not feeling it. Maybe when I get more awake and finish up some stuff on this list, I will be more able to make a new one.

~Take shower - DONE
~MAYBE hair and make-up - DONE
~Taxes (free e-file) - DONE
~Read my bible
~Read over SS lesson again to get even more familiar with it (no school until Tues.)-
~Come back here and update list with what I got done - DONE
~Maybe write a blog about my vision for 2011, or at least set some goals?? -

P.S. If you are wondering what happened to the rest of the list, well what I did not check off in the last blog, I got done yesterday with Susie, we both had things to do, so we took an hour, did it and then checked back in with one another. It was GREAT!

Thank you for reminding me about reading the Bible. Boy, do I need some Psalms right about now. emoticon

Oh, hurray for teaming up to get stuff done & celebrate afterward! That was an excellent strategy.

I hope you find some peaceful time today to think about 2011 vision . . .

    It WAS great! emoticon

I am a bit unmotivated today, so some paperwork it will be. I have some papers to sort through on my desk, & in a couple of other places, so that would be a good goal for me. I'll check back in later!

I tried to read before bed last night, but couldn't focus. I'll have to get to it earlier this evening. We've always done the free e-file, too, but this year DH bought an H&R Block program for some reason (can't remember why ~ maybe it was recommended). Do you think you'll be getting a return? I hope it's not the other way around. :( Ours gets lower and lower each year as the kids get older.

Have you been giving thought to your vision for 2011? I am looking forward to that blog!

What's your lesson on this week? What ages do you teach for SS? I used to LOVE teaching the kindergarteners till I started doing worship. I miss teaching ~ it always spoke to ME each week. It's so exciting to introduce kids to the AMAZING stories in the Bible. Their perspective is always eye-opening. :)

    Love you, Shan!
