As of tomorrow I will have quit smoking for one week. This is a big accomplishment for me. I went from smoking over a pack a day to none. I still occasionally have cravings, but for the most part I really don't have the need any more. I am thankful to God because through him I was granted the strength and will power to stay strong when many times I wanted to falter.
Now it's all about setting new goals.
I've gained back all of the original weight that I lost. Between the passing of Ed's mom during Christmas, general life stress, and stopping smoking. Yes those are all excuses. Yes I know that I'm all about NO MORE EXCUSES.
So I'm setting realistic goals.
Before I've said I want to lose 100 lbs.
That's a bit daunting don't ya think?
So I'm going to set smaller daily/weekly/monthly goals.
This Months Goal:
To remain smoke free
This Weeks Goal:
To track all things that pass my lips
Prep as much as possible to set myself up for a successful week
To exercise when I wake up
To leave for work on time so I do not stress myself out.
I will check back with the rest of the week later.
For a little inspiration I have taken some pictures of my "favorite pair(s) of jeans"
This is a pic of 4 pairs of jeans.
The back pair is the largest a 26-28, the second is a 24 from Lane Bryant (which means it's actually a 26), then a 24 Levi, then a 24 Jean Star brand (which is actual a 22).
The top pair the smallest pair I haven't wore in several years.
The pair in the back is the only pair I can comfortably fit into now.
Every month I hope to be in the next pair up.
By April this is the pair I'd like to be in they are the Jean Stars and are a 24 (but measure a 22).
