Regrouping for the new year

As I had stated before in a previous blog, I "laid low" during the holidays and the first week of January. It was very tough and depressing during Christmas, didn't want to do anything and if it wasn't for my dh, I would not have put up any decorations at all! All I want to do is sleep and cry, I missed my Pop so much. And we wer trying to keep Mama's sprits up also.
But our dd & her family came in from Tenn and we had a house full of kids, grandkids & pets. And my darling in-laws were very happy that everyone was in for Christmas and they got to see their great-grandchildren.
So now it is the new year and we have done some re-grouping. Nat got a Wii for Christmas and I got the Wii fitness Plus along w/the board. Love it!!! Especially the step program! So I get about 15- 30 min of exercise daily and Nat has a ball trying to teach me how to do some of the balance games. I have been redoing alot of our meals, trying to reduce the fat, salt & calories. Tried several from Spark w/some sucess and drinking more fluids.
Have redone my daily calendar, putting in excerise, computer, reading & knitting time in for me and have found out that if I do small blocks, no one "loses" time w/the family or me.
Also put out a chore list & everyone has to pitch in and the house is looking much better and I don't have to spend all of my off time cleaning after one.
So here is to the New Year and a better outlook on things.
