New Goals

I'm not very good at updating my blog - put a lot in my notes page for nutrition but not much on my sparkpage so that is one of my first new goals:

1) Keep my blog updated so that I can really track my goals
2) Reduce how much I snack during the day - even if it's healthy food I need to back it off
3) Keep exercising a minimum of 3 days a week - and do it when I'm on the road as well
4) Eat more veggies. I do good with fruit - not so good with veggies

    For some reason my page hasn't let me post a new blog for over a week - appears to have a javascript error - So I'll update here instead... Back at it today and did a good job of watching my calories. The rest of the week will be a real challenge though because I am leaving before 6 am for a 16 hr drive to Boston and a week of visiting schools and then standing in a trade show booth for 10 hrs plus on a concrete floor with no access to anything decent to eat. Have a bag full of healthy snacks to take and am praying that they will get me through. My youngest son has the flu and I hate leaving him to fend for himself during the day :(

    So in keeping with my new goals I am: 1) making a new post to my blog (2 in one week!)
    2) Have worked really hard to cut back on snacks this week and have been fairly successful so far although I'm usually starving by the time I get home after my workout!
    3) I have exercised every day this week but Tuesday when I had a meeting in another city and didn't get back to town until late.
    4) Still working on eating more veggies. I do fine at dinner but I have a hard time eating raw veggies which would be the best way for me to get them during the day. It's hard to warm up food at our office (ancient microwave that takes too long and doesn't work well) so I usually pack a lunch that doesn't need it... If I take salad for lunch that works well but I can't eat the same thing every day... thinking of coming up with some wrap sandwiches as well using veggies to see how that works out for me. The simpler the better but I need protein during the day to keep from snacking on carbs.
