I lOVE my BodyMedia FIT Armband!

I am really trying hard this time!

I signed up to hike Mt. LeConte in Gatlinburg on June 18 with the women from our church (5 miles up & 5 miles down.) I am trying my hardest to lose as much weight as possible before then so I'll be lighter climbing that mountain.

I've hiked it 3 summers in a row and it's the hardest thing I've ever done, like 5 hours on a stair machine... but it is very empowering!

One of the "tools" I invested in to help me is a BodyFit Media ARMBAND.

I lOVE my BodyMedia FIT Armband (similar to what they wear on the Biggest Loser! I plug it in and it's like playing a game! It tells me:
• My calorie burn "Target" & how much I actually burned this day
• My calorie consumption "Target" & how much I actually ate this day (I must journal)
• My calorie deficit: today, I burned 1674 more calories than I ate! Whoot!
--- next to the deficit it says "You are on a weight loss trend!"
• My physical Activity, determined by raising my heartbeat, I assume.
• How many steps I've taken, & how many more I have to reach 10,000 recommended
• My sleep duration
• My current weight + what I've lost!

It makes me want to jog from room to room simply to step up my exercise and see the numbers change on my charts! Fun! And I've REALLY been exercising because of it! But I'm not doing much else, so I've got to come back to real life.

1057 exercise minutes since Tuesday night!!!

Anyway... you guys know better than anyone how hard I work when I must meet deadlines. I think this Armband will MAKE me become more aware of the importance of exercise on a daily basis, and make me at least get a minimal 30-minutes-a-day in... at the very least.

Decide what you want, decide what you are willing to exchange for it. Establish your priorities and get to work.

And, In case you want to ask where I found it:

I found mine at my local Costco for $150.00 (regularly $199.99 but on sale with a -$50 rebate). Mine included a free 12-month subscription to access the data... This is what mine looks like: www.amazon.com/BodyMedia

When I did a google-search, it looks like TARGET carries them, I guess you can find out if they come with a 12 months free subscription like mine did... it's marked on the packaging under the "includes" section. Mine also came with an extra armband strap.

You make me want to run right out and get one. And I've seen your excitement in your posts. Fantastic.

I bought my daughter a Body Bugg for Christmas and she loves it. I guess the two products are a lot alike.

    High five to you!!
