First Week On WW And The Start Of 5% Challenge

Well today marks my first week on WW. I ended up gaining as a result of not drinking enough water. I was doing so good, but for some reason I ended up gaining 5 pounds between wednesday and thursday. Instead of drinking more water, I ended up drinking less. So my goal for this week is drink my water. I am not dwelling on the gain as I knew why before going so it really is not going to get me down. The good thing about being on WW for me is that it has inspired me to make my food more often and helps me to stay aware of what I am eating. I can get all my points and still be hungry if I don't choose the foods that are filling and nutritious. I have also been better with not eating out as much and I have been able to avoid treats at the store. I am seeing small changes that will in the end help me to get to where I need to be.
The 5% Challenge officially started today (go Cloverleafs
). One of the things that I would like to do is work on losing my 5% of weight by the end of the challenge, which is April 16, as I will be running a 5K that day. I feel that I will meet that goal as I have something to work towards accomplishing.
