Living Wheat Free - Day 5

Today I weigh in at Weight Watchers. I'm excited to see the scales... can't believe I'm saying that!
I'm really not having a problem being wheat-free. I'm also staying away from all soy and corn. (I have to say - This weekend I'm probably going to have a piece of cornbread... because - I'm a southerner and I have a free day.) :

Breakfast:
Broccoli & Cauliflour sauteed in butter (yes, butter!) and then scrambled with 2 eggs! 4 points
1 slice Ezekiel Bread - 2 points

Snack:
8 almonds - 1 point

Lunch:
3 oz. venison burger - 3 points
1 salad with cheese & ham & turkey (small amount) - 4 points
1/2 cup Quinoa w/ agave syrup & cinnamon - 4 points
1/2 cup Greek yogurt - 2 points
Iced tea - no sweetner or sugar - 0 points

Snack:
Raw veggies - 0 points
1 clementine - 0 points

20 points used so far - 9 left!

Dinner:
Son made a wonderful spaghetti meat sauce tonight - perfection! He had cooked spaghetti squash for me to have mine over. What a dear! I love that kid (actually a man now!) 6 points

Snack: almond butter with agave syrup - 3 points

I think the combination of the wheat-free diet and counting my points is a good option for me. It keeps my portion control in line.
I'm feeling much better and have more energy.

WEIGH IN TONIGHT -
DRUM ROLL, PLEASE!!! 3.6 LBS LOST!
Maybe this Wheat-Free living is for me after all! At least it's a beginning - I am cautiously hopeful!
