Littered Jack in the box

Saturday, March 19, 2011

This is short..but haven't blogged in a while so what the heck.
As I stepped out of my car today in front of the gym my sandals were missing the quiet pat pat sound they generally produce. Replacing this sound was a terrible dragging of paper across concrete. When I glanced down I noticed that a jack in the box hash brown wrapper was stuck to my sandal. My memory quickly brought forth all those painful and depressing cycles associated with fast food. I wriggled my ankle with such momentum in attempt to remove the evil wrapper and everything it stood for it's a wonder my shoe didn't soar through the glass double doors of the gym. Symbolism I know....just take it for what it is.
I haven't had fast food for MONTHS! Even though it does present itself at times. I know how it makes me feel and it's not good....Finally NO cravings for fast food? CHECK. emoticon

    Good for you!
I just caved in tonight, after being on a great streak and even blogging about it. My MIL wanted all of us there to say her last good-byes. It's been so stressful, that I gave in when my husband suggested it. I went almost 1,000 cals over my ranges, and I feel like my tummy hurts. I'm thinking of documenting every negative reaction (physical and emotional) to pull out when there's a next time. It's not just the impact to your nutrition tracker, but the other consequences that suffer. Bleck.
