Meet Alice

Saturday, March 19, 2011

Today Parker & I went to my sister's house, & spent most of the day outside playing with Alice. We had a great time, Alice is such a sweetie. She is a beautiful animal, who can't seem to get enough hugs, or carrots. lol

I took a few shots of her today, some are rather close, b/c she was all over me, with her head right in my face. Did I mention that she loves hugs?!?

Alice is old, she is almost 30. She still acts like a much younger horse.

Alice was a rescue.
She is blind in one eye, from old age the former owners said. They decided they didn't want her anymore, & was going to put her down. My sister was glad to take her & has given her a wonderful home they love her very much & we all hope Alice is very happy. She is such a sweet animal.

What a sweetie! Glad you were able to spend time with Alice and your sister. :) I love that barn!

I squeezed some horse time in today as well. I have doubles tomorrow and Friday..regular shifts Tu-Th. Graveyard about killed me on top of the evening shifts.

I have no idea... I'm beginning to think working out as much is a waste of time if I can't get my sleep balanced.

    miss you!

Great pictures! I can't imagine someone wanting to put her down just because. She looks like she has a lot of life and love left in her. So glad she has found a happy home and people who love her!
