Muesli Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup of muesli/bran/etc
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup stone ground wholemeal flour
1 tablespoon golden syrup or treacle/molasses
1 teaspoon bi carb
2 tablespoons boiling water
125 grams melted butter

1 Mix all dry ingredients
2 Mix golden syrup, soda and boiling water. While frothing add melted butter and pour into dry ingredients. Mix well.
3 Squeeze mix together into walnut size balls.
4 Allow plenty of room on the tray as biscuits spread.
5 Cook at 160 C until starting to go golden brown. Biscuits harden on cooling.
you can substitute some of the butter with peanut butter, and you can also add nuts and dried fruit.
Anzacs were sent to the Australian soldiers when they fought in the early wars. i like these as they're a biscuit but sort of healthy emoticon

    I just came over to see how you are doing since our warrior challenge is over and we don't correspond as much any more and I discovered your great recipe, thank you! One question do you know what 160 c is in Fahrenheit? If you don't know that is fine I will just get off of my butt and look it up! Thanks again for the recipe. emoticon
